Macey

Macey Hurrle RDN, LD
Hello, my name is Macey, and I am one of your Registered Dietitians! I was born and raised in Minnesota where I currently still reside with my husband. I obtained my undergraduate degree in nutrition at the College of Saint Benedict and proceeded to complete my dietetic internship through Centracare at the St. Cloud Hospital. I know nutrition and the world of food choices can feel complicated and overwhelming. My goal is to simplify nutrition while simultaneously empowering individuals to make nutrition decisions that are sustainable, healthful, and enjoyable. I truly believe that all foods can be incorporated into a balanced diet and my favorite part about being a Dietitian is helping individuals implement this motto into their lives! In my pastime, I enjoy weightlifting, yoga, reading books (I love a good thriller!) and spending time with my friends and family.

Dietitian's Choice

After reviewing recommendations from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Heart Association, FDA, USDA, World Health Organization, Mayo Clinic and Harvard School of Public Health, we developed our own guidelines for "better for you" options found in our stores.

Note: These recommendations are for the general population. If you have any concerns for special diets, please feel free to reach out to any of our Registered Dietitians.

OUR DIETITIAN’S CHOICE ITEMS FOCUS ON:

  • Whole Grains
  • Little to no added sugar
  • Lower in saturated fat
  • Lower sodium
  • Lean protein
  • Healthy fats

Due to the complexity of various products on the market, we use general guidelines along with our discretion to help our guests shop for more nutritious options.

Our Registered Dietitians are our experts on food and nutrition. Their Dietitian's Choice shelf tag program is found on over 5,000 items across each store. This program makes it quick and simple to choose food items with better nutritional qualities. Simply look for the blue shelf tag!
